Two new Summit companies are looking for capable folks to fill in their manpower requirements.

Hand.Interactive, Inc.

A company which will focus on expanding Summit Media's experience into the 55 million mobile subscribers in the Philippines. For the next 3 years, it will focus on developing three core services:

a. Enhancing the magazine, billboard & website experience with interactive mobile services;
b. Bringing the different magazines & web content into the mobile space;
c. Expanding Summit services for third party use

STAFF FOR MOBILE SERVICES DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING TEAM
  • Works with managing editors across the publications & digital sites of Summit Media to:
  • Determine joint opportunities in mobile & the different relevant mobile services per brand (traditional Mobile VAS, Mobile Magazines, partners & campaigns).
  • Identify joint directions in regularly making mobile interaction points within magazines & porting out magazines (and their media) to mobiles.
  • Ensures regular monthly mobile activities across all Summit publications, websites, & Billboards/OHH.
  • Delegates work assignments to writers, editors, photographers, art directors, and editorial staff; ensures timeliness & quality of content generated.
  • Reviews each mobile service & interaction point to ensure that it is optimized and convincing during the “moment of truth” with respective reader profiles.
  • Capable of assessing any potential risks across all content (e.g. Libel, inaccuracies, copyright infringement, etc.) and providing any necessary adjustments needed.
  • Analyzes mobile service statistics across all brands to determine “what sells”, and replicates successes across different applicable brands/media.
  • Responsible for hiring, work-load management, learning & development of the Content Development & Management team.
  • Work with other Hand Interactive management on identifying, mapping out, design, documentation of cross-departmental processes & policies.

STAFF FOR OPERATIONS & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT TEAM
  • Works with all groups within/outside Hand Interactive, Inc. to identify, design, rollout, & monitor all operational processes needed by Hand Interactive, Inc. for the successful sales of all of its mobile services
  • Develops & processes all commercial contracts needed for all contents commissioned for royalties or revenue shares.
  • Ensures potential libel, copyright infringements, patent infringement check processes are in place across all services prior to execution.
  • Designs (with other department directors) and monitors all Hand Interactive, Inc. Key Performance Indicators, and handles Quality Assurance of services.
  • Manages & develops the operations staff of Hand Interactive, Inc.
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
  • Ensures 24x7 availability of applications / services
  • Manages a team of technical operations engineers with 24x7 rotating schedules
  • Manages production servers & resources
  • Performs database backups and disaster recovery processes
  • Ensures optimal performance of all applications and services
  • Ensures security / integrity / stability of all production servers & equipment
  • Coordinates with other departments for trouble shooting & escalation
  • Interfaces with Telco counterparts for setup / configuration / maintenance / support of Telco connected services
  • Sets technical operations standards & procedures
PHP & C++ DEVELOPERS
  • Manages / implements R&D-based products / services / applications
  • Project Management
  • Provides technical architectures, requirements & software designs
  • Ensures continuity of projects in development
  • Performs peer-review of developed codes
  • Actual coding / development of services & applications
  • Designs & develops software systems using UNIX C++ / PHP
  • Performs product design, bug verification & testing
  • Conducts technology research
STAFF FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with key business-relevant decision makers in Sun, Smart, & Globe.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for requests & negotiations between Hand Interactive, Inc. and Telecommunications Operators covering road-shows, presentations, accreditation, uniform access code allocations, SD &/or creation/submission/approval, securing needed licenses, etc.
  • Develop partner penetration strategy for Telecommunications Operators and links it to overall positioning & branding strategy for Hand Interactive, Inc.
  • Work with other Hand Interactive management on identifying & monitoring all Business Development department processes & Lead/Lag Key Performance Indicators
  • Register & represent Hand Interactive in key industry associations like the Mobile Marketing Association, IMMAP, etc.
  • Manage & develop the business development staff of Hand Interactive, Inc.

An online real estate classifieds company where real estate brokers, property developers, and private individuals can advertise their properties - be it residential, office, or commercial space. Individuals and companies looking to rent or purchase properties can browse the company’s classifieds listings to find a property that will suit their needs.

WEB APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST (a.k.a. Platform/Data Quality Specialist)
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks for the web-based platform. This includes data conflict management, data quality improvements, content abuse management.
  • Performs data analysis, cleanup and reporting.
  • Coordinates with different teams in resolving functional and/or technical issues.
  • Become an expert user of the web platform/application and master data being maintained.
  • Candidate must be very familiar with the Internet and use of web applications similar to blog sites, CMS and or social networking sites.
  • Candidate must be proactive, organized and team-oriented.
  • Candidate must be very good in oral and written English.
  • Technical programming experience is not required, but background in programming and database management a big plus.
  • Heavy experience in use of MS Office applications, specifically in Excel and Access, is highly preferred.
CUSTOMER CARE SPECIALIST
  • Performs tasks related to supporting customers via phone or e-mail.
  • Provides first level support (Help Desk) for customers and partners.
  • Performs fraud and abuse management, and administration of customer/cooperation contracts.
  • Manages support incident tickets.
  • Become an expert user of the web platform/application.
  • Candidate must be very familiar with the Internet and use of web applications similar to blog sites, CMS and or social networking sites.
  • Candidate must be proactive, organized and team-oriented.
  • Candidate must have a "can do" attitude and the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Candidate must have excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Technical programming experience is not required.
  • Experience in online businesses, online media markets, or customer service (e.g., Help Desk support, in-bound call center support services, etc.) is highly preferred, but not required.
