Mission: Aborted

This eight-page piece was supposed to be part of a printed anthology, but that anthology never saw the light. So I'm presenting the story here. I hope you like it.

As is customary with these things, copyright belongs to me. And you are certainly welcome to repost one or two pages in your own parcels of web real estate, with a link to this post. If you repost all eight pages, however, you are open to people calling you strange names.
