Saturday, and I'm blogging from the office. Had to finish something to prevent a pile-up on Monday. Activity levels rising at the office. Brain's like a washing machine.

Saw Cold Mountain a couple of nights ago. I should remind myself not to watch these kinds of films alone at last full show because it's not a Happy Land movie. I got depressed. Quality-wise, the film ain't up there either; I don't blame the Oscars for not nominating it. But it's not a cinematic disaster. That, at least, you can expect from Anthony Minghella. His The English Patient moved slower than the Law-Kidman starrer, but I feel it was better-made. It was a delight, however, seeing Kidman and Zellweger together in one film after last year's semi-controversial Oscar Best Actress showdown.

Megamall's showing some Oscar films. It's about time...
